Lead Car is used by Lewis University Television to show the position of a race's lead vehicle in its broadcast graphics.
What it collects
Your phone's precise location, and only between pressing Start and pressing Stop. Nothing is collected when you are not tracking.
Where it goes
Each position (latitude, longitude and its accuracy) is posted to the topic shown by the broadcast desk on ntfy.sh, a public message relay, which keeps messages for up to 12 hours. The broadcast desk reads it from there. Anyone who knows the topic name could read the positions while they are kept; the topic is random and changed by the desk.
What it does not do
No account, no name, no contact details, no advertising, no analytics, no tracking across apps. The app stores only the topic and its settings on your phone.
